Graniteville Specialty Fabrics, Graniteville, S.C., has developed Force FR, a lighter weight, fire-resistant military tent fabric. A polyester with vinyl coating, it’s designed to withstand the harsh impact of wind, rain and sun with water repellency, and UV and mildew resistance. A high-strength and durable product, it’s primarily for use as a liner and plenum material in military shelters, but additional Force FR products are suitable for utility safety shelters, disaster relief, and medical or institutional applications.
