    Fabric Images, Inc., an Elgin, IL manufacturer of tension fabric structures and high resolution imaging in textiles is seeking the following individual:

    Digital Textile cutting/Pattern Detailer
    Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Inventor mandatory.
    Working knowledge of M-Panel essential.
    Working knowledge of textile paneling and sewing techniques a plus.

    Responsibilities
    Programming solutions for the operation of our Zund flatbed cutting system.
    Secondary responsibility for the creation of engineering drawings: set up templates and assist in developing department process and standards.

    Activities

    Work with departments to establish fabric design/project capabilities.
    Engineer fabrication details for production.
    Create CAD/M-Panel patterning and construction drawings and programs.
    Organize and manage all project details.
    Maintain project up-dates/changes.
    Proactive involvement with operations as well as client meetings as required.

    National Career Readiness Certification recommended.
    Salary commensurate with experience.
