When choosing a printer, consider this.

1. Fabric
   What fabrics do you need to print on? For polyester, dye sublimation is the usual rout. If the fabrics are stretchable, the deciding factor is how the fabric is transported through the printer without stretching it.
2. Shop size
   For a small print shop interested in growing, versatility is crucial. A large print shop is best served by having several different printers, each dedicated to specific applications.
3. Durability
   Stick with products from companies with a fair and acceptable track record in wide-format printer manufacturing.
