Professional development in narrow fabrics

News | | By:

The Jakob Müller Institute of Narrow Fabrics provides training opportunities at facilities in Frick, Switzerland, and Suzhou, China, as well as through a mobile “flying classroom,” with trainers available to teach courses in five different languages. The company organizes an annual Narrow Fabrics Conference, and two technical manuals, in English or German, are available for purchase from the MüBOOKS imprint: Preparation, Finishing, Make-up and Needle Weaving Technology in Narrow Fabrics.

The Narrow Fabrics Institute (NFI), a division of IFAI, is the industry organization for manufacturers of narrow fabrics, serving as a central source of information for individual manufacturers, distributors and customers of narrow fabrics, government agencies and other trade organizations. NFI’s mission is to promote lawful and fair-trade practices, customs and usage, and in general to advance the common interests of the narrow fabrics industry. NFI is also a participant at IFAI Expo Americas 2012 (Boston, Nov. 6–9) and one of the developers of the Outlook Conference 2012, to be held this year in Greensboro, Ga., May 7–8.
