The Thermoplastic Composites Research Centre (TPRC), formed in response to the increased demand for thermoplastics in the aerospace industry, has been established at the University of Twente, Enschede, The Netherlands. Officials from Boeing, Chicago, Ill., Stork Fokker, Papendrecht, The Netherlands, TenCate, Almelo, The Netherlands, and the university launched the center to further explore the benefits of thermoplastics.
