2010 Recognition Award for AR Tech

After completing 50 launches of reconnaissance and weather satellites for the U.S. Government, United Launch Alliance (ULA) LLC, Centennial, Colo., knows a high-flying company when it meets one. ULA recently awarded AR Tech, a subsidiary of A&R Tarpaulins Inc. of Fontana, Calif., its 2010 Small Business Recognition Award for excellent service in providing high-tech blankets to protect launch vehicles. AR Tech has provided ULA with fabric aerospace products since the inception of the space-launch company four years ago.
