European Center for Innovative Textiles opens

The European Center for Innovative Textiles (CETI) will officially open on Oct. 10-11 in Roubaix (Northern France), and has introduced the CETI International Forum to be held on Oct. 11, 2012: New Technologies for New Markets.

The CETI International Forum will give an overview of the new technologies available (extrusion of mono-, bi- and tricomponent fibers, spinning, spunbond and meltblown nonwovens) in the new center, through three roundtables:

Roundtable 1: New technologies for new fibers with the valuable participation of speakers from JCFA, HILLS, TOTAL, ROQUETTE, BRASKEM, ENSAIT, and IFTH;

Roundtable 2: Management of innovation with HEI and ISEN;

Roundtable 3: Barrier effects (filtration and insulation) with EDANA, ENSAIT, UP-tex, CAMFIL FARR, RENAULT AIR, MACOPHARMA, NCRC, SOPREMA, and CENTEXBEL.
