The first-ever symposium on Asia Pacific Nonwovens, “Transforming Nonwovens Business through Technology Innovation,” will be held October 22, 2013, in Shanghai, China. The World Textile Information Network (WTiN) and RISI Inc. will jointly organize the conference, sponsored by the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry (INDA) and the China Nonwoven and Industrial Textile Association. Presentations in the morning session will focus on technology advances such as spunmelt, meltblown, carded and needlepunch platforms. The afternoon session will examine trends in the region, with emphasis on hygiene, medical fabrics, filtration and automotive materials.
