Q-Lab’s Reis elected to ASTM committee

Brad Reis will chair ASTM International’s Subcommittee D01.27

Brad Reis, vice-president of marketing for Q-Lab Corp., was recently elected chair of the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) International Subcommittee D01.27 on accelerated testing for paints and coatings.

Q-Lab’s equipment and testing services are extensively used in the plastics industry for R&D, quality control, and to test for weathering durability. Reis holds more than 30 U.S. patents and has authored papers on electromagnetic interference shielding and thermal management. His expertise, as well as a 23-year professional career in technical leadership, marketing, product development, applications engineering, equipment design and intellectual property, qualifies him for the role as chair of a subcommittee developing standards for paints and coatings.
