The American Subcontractors Association (ASA) Midwest Council announced the winners of its Masquerade Ball Awards Gala on April 11, 2015, hosting almost 400 people at the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown St. Louis, Mo., for the annual event. Four categories of awards were given: General Contractor of the Year, Outstanding Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Subcontractor, Outstanding Specialty Subcontractor and Service Provider/Supplier of the Year. Lawrence Fabric & Metal Structures Inc. won the Outstanding Specialty Subcontractor of the Year Award.
The judging was based on bid ethics and practice, safety policy and practices, jobsite supervision, communication, scheduling, coordination, project relations, administrative procedures/paperwork and quality workmanship. ASA president Robert Trask stated: “Our Awards Gala is about celebrating excellence. The winners of this year truly exemplify excellence in construction. They stand as shining examples of what is possible when a project team works in unison towards their common goal.”
