Sandler AG, a German nonwovens producer based in Schwarzenbach an der Saale, Germany, reported a successful year 2015, having generated sales of 288 million Euros. With its wide product range, Sandler was able to achieve high levels of capacity utilization in 2015. Highlights from the year included the introduction of self-supporting nonwovens for office acoustics and composite materials made of nonwovens and fiber reinforced plastic for the automotive industry. Looking toward the future, nonwoven innovations, the expansion of the Schwarzenbach plant and the establishment of a manufacturing location in the U.S. will enable further growth for the company in years to come.
