TECHNICAL APPAREL

Line of performance knits features both fire-retardant and fast-drying antimicrobial fabrics that provide protection, comfort and durability; currently available in various weights that can be tailored in a garment depending upon the intended environment. The Berry-compliant fabrics also offer 4-way stretch, wicking, breathability, shrink resistance, pick resistance, odor resistance and pill resistance, and are recommended for use in the outdoor, military, tactical and apparel markets.

ACTIONABLE FABRICS

Stretch fabric 84/16 Full Dull Polyester Spandex is recommended for applications including wrestling singlets, leggings, yoga apparel, arm sleeves, rashguards, cyclewear, military apparel and workwear. Easily printed with dye sublimation, it is UPF 50 rated and can be used for apparel that offers either a relaxed or snug fit. Features high performance and a cool, comfortable feel, with a more opaque look than the traditional semi-matte polyester spandex tricot fabrics.

For manufacturing soft, smooth athletic tops, Polyester Micro Fiber Rib Knit fabric is highly breathable, lightweight, soft and comfortable, where a fine stretch is needed. It offers a wicking finish and creates vibrant custom looks with dye sublimation, a recommended choice for running and track
and field applications.

Shiny Polyester Spandex Eyelet Mesh, Style 93/7, is durable enough for a variety of sports programs, including football, lacrosse and hockey jerseys, since it resists punctures and tears. Its heavy construction, strong enough to last for multiple seasons, also works well with dye sublimation—an excellent

DEFINING SOFTNESS

Lenzing has created a method to give a new definition to softness in textiles: using the softness measuring device from Emtec Electronic, it’s been demonstrated that the higher the amount of Lenzing Modal^® used in the fabric, the softer it becomes—measurably. The fiber is extracted from beechwood, directly from beechwood forests, giving each textile a natural image. Full integration at the Lenzing site in Austria makes it possible to produce the fiber in an environmentally sound way due to the generation of excess energy and the recovery of component parts of the wood.
