Specialty Fabrics Showcase 2020: Performance Upholstery

The Sentara Upholstery Collection is comprised of residential-inspired commercial-grade upholstery fabrics that come standard with a stain repellent finish (Alta^™ or unbranded) and backing (acrylic or knit). The fabric can be custom finished with an alternative finish, is stocked in the U.S. and is available for cut yardage quantities.

Fil Doux Textiles has launched two new collections, Synthesis and Otratex. Synthesis represents an artistic collection of movement and pattern and is designed to evoke an emotional response. Otratex is eco-friendly, phthalate-free and treated with Pro-Tech, a water-based stain repellent that offers denim and ink protection.

The latest update to the Crypton collection features seven patterns and four original designs. Porter is a unique fabrication in the collection with a 66 percent polyester, 22 percent olefin and 12 percent cotton construction. The other 10 patterns of the collection are 100 percent polyester. All patterns pass CAL-TB-117-2013, NFPA 260 and UFAC Class 1 specifications.

Made for indoor and outdoor use, Wolf-Gordon’s two upholstery patterns draw on the influences of artists Bridget Riley and Frank Stella. The new designs in Sunbrella^© constructions feature highly UV-stable pigments that are resistant to fading and the degrading effects of sunlight. Riley lends sensations of movement and color to the additions while Stella’s dynamic minimalism is captured in
the bold graphic quality.
