They are already used as the absorbent core within reusable hygiene garments, e.g., period and incontinence pads and pants, and other wearable garments for moisture management and evaporative cooling.

Containing Super Absorbent Fibre (SAF), the highly absorbent, felt-like SAF™ Needlefelt Fabric can be used in a wide range of applications, including industrial products such as filters, structural waterproofing membranes and medical dressings. Designed and manufactured to produce extremely high levels of absorbency and retention, even under load.
