Polyurethane Innovation Award finalists

The Center for the Polyurethanes Industry has announced Riddell SpeedFlex Precision Diamond Football Helmet Liner and Dow AQUACHILL™ Cool Coating for Comfier Bedding as the finalists for this year’s Polyurethane Innovation Award. Riddell and Carbon partnered to produce a digitally printed liner for the SpeedFlex Precision Diamond football helmet, using data gathered from five million head impacts to create next-generation head protection. Dow AQUACHILL Cool Coating is a water-based phase-change material coating that maximizes initial and sustained cooling.
