Seventy percent of corporate sales executives participating in a recent study commissioned by the Manufacturers’ Agents National Association are “very optimistic” or “somewhat optimistic” about the current U.S. economic forecast. “Very optimistic” or “somewhat optimistic” was the consensus of 71 percent of that group’s forecast for their own firms’ projected revenue and 64 percent for their own firms’ projected profits. The survey predicted that the economy will hold at its current peak through 3Q20, with possible softening to follow.
