Appelsies named president of MKM

Minnesota Knitting Mills (MKM), St. Paul, Minn., has named Rick Appelsies as president.

Appelsies joined MKM as senior product development manager last year. His past experience includes a wide array of executive leadership and experience in the textile industry ranging from senior vice president at Red Wing Shoe Co. to various executive leadership and development responsibilities at companies such as Wolverine Worldwide and Rocky Brands Inc.

Appelsies will be responsible for all functional areas and will report directly to MKM’s board of directors.
