AP Awning Partners acquires American Awning and Sign

AP Awning Partners/ Sommer Awning has acquired Ohio-based American Awning and Sign, a young and growing awning company.

American Awning and Sign has been led by a team with more than 20 years of market experience. According to Dustin Bibb, owner of America Awning, “Our goal going forward is to become a greater leader in our industry, and the acquisition will solidify our mutual goals. We are thankful for the opportunity and look forward to working with the AP brand.”

AP Awning Partners/Sommer Awning Group is one of the pioneers of the United States awning market with decades of experience in the business. Speaking about the company’s plans for now operating out of Indy and Columbus, Steve Sommer, owner of AP Awning Partners/Sommer Awning Group, explains, “AP Awning Partners is looking forward to this opportunity to further enhance its project management platform. The turnkey process starts in our state-of-the-art 30,000 square foot manufacturing facility with enhanced capability in the American Awning facilities.”
