Stein Fibers acquires Consolidated Fibers

Stein Fibers Ltd. has acquired Charlotte, N.C.-based Consolidated Fibers. Since 1960, Consolidated Fibers has been a leader in the fiber business specializing in various products for the nonwoven industry. In addition to polyester and viscose fibers, Consolidated Fibers brings a complement of specialty and niche products to Stein’s portfolio.

Stein Fibers will retain Bob Kunik, the owner and president of Consolidated Fibers, as well as several other Consolidated Fibers key sales and operational associates.
