New update to FEA design software

MPanel Software Solutions has updated its MPanel FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to meet the changing needs of fabricators and ensure the program works with the latest design software. The updated software is an additional module that allows a user to analyze MPanel 3D models for reactions due to environmental factors such as wind and snow loading. The version 15 update adds new features combined with changes to the core of the program to ensure compatibility with current versions of AutoCAD and Rhino.

New features include a free pole/beam to enable the modeling of a beam with no end fixings; a new pinned pole to enable the modeling of a bending pole with a pinned end fixing; and an improved solver that provides robust solutions for complex models with cantilever poles and multiple sail connections replacing the previous dual loop solver.
