New benchtop spectrophotometers

Datacolor’s two new close-tolerance benchtop spectrophotometers are designed for high efficiency and confidence in color formulation and quality control. The economical Spectro 700V vertical configuration (in photo) enables users to measure a greater variety of samples. The Spectro 1000X has an upward-facing aperture that works well for liquid, paste, powder and granular samples. Both models allow users to capture the temperature of samples measured, an essential new quality-control feature that ensures accurate color measurement for materials that need be within certain temperature ranges.
