Recover™, a materials science company and producer of sustainable, recycled cotton fiber and cotton fiber blends, announced the appointment of Hans Ploos van Amstel to the Recover board of directors.
Amstel brings to Recover his global financial expertise and a track record of driving transformative growth across diverse industries, including experience in fashion and textiles. With over three decades of experience, Amstel has held leadership positions at companies such as Procter & Gamble, Levi Strauss & Co., the Adecco Group and Partners Group, through which he has demonstrated a commitment to driving strategic transformations, optimizing organizational structures and fostering sustainable growth. As CFO of Levi Strauss & Co., Amstel leveraged his financial proficiency to increase operational efficiency and drive innovation. He also served as co-chief executive officer of C&A.
