Poly-Strong PC-IR was developed to eliminate weakness in the stitching areas of camouflage materials that provide invisibility against infrared rays, especially for camouflage applications in military and security areas. Durak Tekstil asserts that infrared cameras in the 700–1,200 nanometer wavelength range cannot detect this thread. Poly-Strong PC-IR can also be used for outdoor sports apparel, tent materials and other outdoor applications.
