eVent® Fabrics, a laminate technologies provider, announced that its PFAS-free stormburstLT laminate is now available to cyclists through a partnership with Alé Cycling. based in Italy.
The company introduced laminate in early 2025. While other brands have adopted the new laminate, the partnership with Alé represents the first time the laminate will be available to cyclists.

eVent partners with apparel manufacturer ITTTAI, an Italian company specializing in manufacturing technical fabrics. ITTTAI provides European-based clients with a variety of services and materials, including eVent’s stormburstLT laminate, to create high-performance, ultra-modern apparel such as Alé’s new FAN and TRACCIA jackets.
Alé’s FAN jacket for men and women has a temperature range of -3–6 °C (27–43°F) and is designed using Alé’s Body Mapping system. It is ideal for winter use and features eVent’s 3-layer laminate fabric.
