
Trivantage will host its second annual Makers Meet on May 8, 2026, in partnership with the Window Coverings Association of America.
The one-day event is designed for workrooms, upholsterers and designers, offering opportunities to learn, connect and explore new techniques and materials.
The event will take place at the Sunbrella® flagship manufacturing plant in Anderson, S.C., where attendees will participate in a guided tour of the 1-million-square-foot facility. The tour will highlight the manufacturing process from fiber production and weaving to finishing, research and development and performance testing.
The program also will include product demonstrations and expert-led presentations, including:
- “Fabric Applications and Experiences: When to Choose What and Why,” presented by Tracie Bresnahan and Beverly Baribault.
- “New Fabric Collections: Drapery and Upholstery Applications,” led by Amy Gillam, furnishings design director at Sunbrella.
- “Why Sunbrella,” presented by Ceci Flores, focusing on product innovation, durability and design versatility.
“Trivantage seeks to strengthen our industry by providing education and growth opportunities,” says Katelyn Bell, furnishings marketing manager at Trivantage. “The Makers Meet creates an environment where professionals can collaborate, learn and build connections.”
Advance registration is required. Tickets are $85 and include lunch. Members of the Window Coverings Association of America are eligible for a discount.
