Reshoring Textiles acquires Sans Technical Fibers

Industry News, News | October 15, 2026 | By:

Reshoring Textiles has acquired Sans Technical Fibers, an American producer of high-tenacity LDI nylon 6.6 and polyester yarns. Sans will operate alongside Spinnere as a sister company within Reshoring Textiles. John Garner has been named its CEO and Robert Antoshak has been named chief marketing officer of Reshoring Textiles.

The acquisition adds domestic filament production for technical and specialty uses, including sewing thread and industrial textiles, giving Reshoring more to offer manufacturers in apparel and industrial markets.

“Reshoring is dedicated to helping American textile manufacturing grow,” says Josh Nieuwsma, CEO of Reshoring Textiles. “Customers need reliable long-term domestic sources of the raw materials their products require. Sans gives us an established operation with deep experience in specialty nylon and polyester. Alongside Spinnere, it will help us supply more of those needs from U.S. facilities, and support manufacturers and startups looking to grow and build their businesses here.”

Based in Stoneville, N.C., Sans has supplied high-tenacity filaments for more than two decades. Its nylon yarns range from ultrafine to heavier deniers and offer UV stabilization and favorable dyeing characteristics. The company expanded into polyester in 2017, with new production equipment entering service in 2018 and in 2024. Sans now offers polyester yarns from fine deniers to heavy denier industrial. With new extrusion equipment on its way, Sans will be able to offer significantly more and different polymers to its customers.

“Sans has built its reputation on consistent, high-performance fibers,” says Garner. “Our mission statement: to make it easy to do business in America. We don’t like the word no.”

Sans is ISO 9001 certified and manufactures all of its products in North Carolina from U.S.-made raw materials. Its products comply with the Berry Amendment and the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement, and the company serves customers on five continents.
