Sustainable and high-performance textile and textile technology developer Schotex Global® Co. Ltd. has announced the appointment of René Gagell as head of its weaving department.
Gagell brings more than 25 years of experience in the textile industry, specializing in weaving technology and mechanics. He spent nearly two decades at Schoeller Textil AG, where he began as a weaving supervisor before advancing to head of the company’s weaving department, a position he held for 12 years.

Schotex Global operates from a manufacturing facility in Kaiping, China, within the Panther Textiles Holding group of manufacturing facilities.
