KARL MAYER names Axel Wintermeyer president of Warp Knitting Business Unit

KARL MAYER has announced that Axel Wintermeyer has been named the president of its Warp Knitting Business Unit.

Wintermeyer has been with the company for 29 years, beginning in machinery sales before taking over as vice president of sales at KARL MAYER’s subsidiary, Chemnitz. From 2014–2020, Wintermeyer headed the spare parts business of the Warp Knitting Business Unit. Most recently, Wintermeyer led the establishment of the CARE SOLUTIONS division.
