Autometrix announced that Eric Sevy has joined the team as the company’s new West Coast sales representative.
Autometrix was founded by John Palmer under the name Marine Computer Systems. The company provides pattern development, cutting and photo digitizing software to the industrial fabrics market.
Sevy previously worked at SugarHouse Industries in Midvale, Utah, for 27 years. He held multiple roles in his time with SugarHouse, gaining experience in driving growth in custom manufacturing solutions and building fabricator partnerships.
“I am excited to join Autometrix as an automation consultant. With years of hands-on experience as a fabricator and firsthand user of Autometrix’s world-class hardware and software solutions, this opportunity was a natural next step in my career,” says Sevy.
“This new role lets me leverage my extensive practical background to assist fellow fabricators, sharing the real-world insights I’ve gained along the way,” he adds. “As I start this new chapter, I am eager to stay engaged with the ATA community, contribute in this exciting new capacity and support industry peers on the opportunities ahead.”
