ATA announces volunteer award winners, call for board candidates results

Advanced Textiles Association (ATA) announced the 2026 recipients of the Outstanding Volunteer Award and the results of the call for board candidates at the Annual Meeting and Advanced Textiles Expo Preview webinar, Sept. 9.

Outstanding Volunteer Award winners

The Outstanding Volunteer Award program was created in 2012 and recognizes a handful of dedicated ATA volunteers, such as those who serve on advisory boards, task forces or committees, judge competitions, provide education and more.

  • Mike Boatman, Boatman Marine Canvas
  • Steve Belliveau, Anchor Industries Inc.
  • Michael Samueloff, formerly of Husker US
  • Nicolas Reck, Solmax
  • James Dillport, Trivantage LLC
  • Ethan Halpern, American Awning & Blind Co.

Board of directors

Glenn Aust, Ehmke Manufacturing, and John Tavano, Miami Corp., were elected to their first three-year terms on the ATA Board of Directors. John Henderson, Tensar, and Bret Kelley, Trivantage, were elected to their second three-year term on the board. These terms will begin at Advanced Textiles Expo® in November in Orlando, Fla.

Jennifer Fennell, Polo Custom Products, and Tony Ehrbar, American Tent/Renegade Plastics Corporation, who both began their second three-year terms in 2023, will finish their terms during expo.
