DEFINING SOFTNESS
Lenzing has created a method to give a new definition to softness in textiles: using the softness measuring device from Emtec Electronic, it’s been demonstrated that the higher the amount of Lenzing Modal® used in the fabric, the softer it becomes—measurably. The fiber is extracted from beechwood, directly from beechwood forests, giving each textile a natural image. Full integration at the Lenzing site in Austria makes it possible to produce the fiber in an environmentally sound way due to the generation of excess energy and the recovery of component parts of the wood.
