AATCC free seminar August 3: Making performance textiles pay off

Industry News | July 16, 2010 | By:

The American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) and Concept III Textiles International will co-sponsor a free one-hour seminar on “Understanding how performance textiles work: the payoff of added value,” in conjunction with the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market in Salt Lake City, Utah. The seminar will be held from 9–10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 3rd, at the Salt Lake City Marriott Downtown. The seminar is free, and all Outdoor Retailer attendees are invited.

Presenters will tackle two key performance features for the outdoor market: odor control and moisture management. There will be a question-and-answer period after the seminar, with experts from AATCC’s staff available to answer questions, in addition to presenters Mike Sweet of Polygiene AB and Cotton Incorporated’s Michele Wallace. For more information, contact Concept III at info@conceptiii.com, or visit www.aatcc.org.
