Milliken & Co., Spartanburg, S.C., continues to impress the Ethisphere Institute, a think tank dedicated to the advancement of best practices in business ethics. For the fifth consecutive year, Milliken’s textile, chemical and floor-covering business was named to Ethisphere’s 2011 “World’s Most Ethical Companies” list. Ethisphere reviewed thousands of companies in a multi-step analysis that includes company ethics policies, litigation and regulatory histories, investments in sustainability and innovation, corporate citizenship and other factors. Milliken was one of 110 companies that made the list, which included 43 companies headquartered outside of the U.S.
