No greenhouse effect

News | April 1, 2014 | By:

Phifer SheerWeave® Style 4000, 4100 and 4400 series fabrics made with sustainable DOW ECOLIBRIUM™ Bio-Based Plasticizers are ‘green’ PVC fabrics for interior and exterior shading systems in commercial and residential applications. The plasticizers are made from 98 percent renewable feedstock, reduce greenhouse gases by 40 percent versus traditional plasticizers, and the compounds can be recycled in a standard vinyl stream. With a whisper of light and color, SheerWeave fabrics manage the sun’s heat and glare at the window, improving air conditioning efficiency and protecting interior furnishings from fading.

A new 1 percent open, full basketweave fabric joins 3 and 5 percent options in the sustainable SheerWeave Infinity2 window treatment line. Infinity2 offers a thinner, more lightweight fabric than its predecessor, SheerWeave Infinity, for an improved look and easier fabrication. Infinity2 provides the same solar heat and glare control properties as traditional SheerWeave interior sun control fabrics to help conserve energy, harness natural light and maintain interior comfort levels. Available in nine neutral colors.
