Ayala named Aurora vice president

Aurora Specialty Textiles Group Inc., Aurora, Ill., has promoted Marcia Ayala to vice president, research and development. Ayala has been director of research and development since 2006. In her new position she will continue to be responsible for product development and quality, and will also be charged with identifying new business opportunities and developing new products. Ayala has a B.S. and M.S. in chemical engineering, as well as an MBA and a professional engineer license in the state of Pennsylvania.
