The management team of Polyfab USA LLC, Manhattan Beach, Calif., purchased the company from its “mother ship” Polyfab Australia. Polyfab Australia developed heavy-duty knitted HDPE shadecloth, ideal for solar protection, more than 25 years ago and established the USA division in 2008. “By focusing solely on the Americas, we think we can tap into that [tremendous] growth and be even more reflective of the trends and preferences of customers in North and South America,” says Steve Morenberg, new managing director of Polyfab USA.
