Finding and retaining quality employees is a challenge shared by virtually every business owner in every market segment. Greg Greg Schmieler has addressed those challenges by refining Laurel Awning’s recruiting, hiring and retention practices.
Schmieler instituted an employee training program that runs for the first week of employment, after which the employee is placed with a journeyman. He also developed written tests specific to all positions within the company that employees must pass before they move into their respective positions.
