The German textile research and testing powerhouse, Hohenstein Institute, is bringing its services to the U.S. market, establishing Hohenstein America in Elon, N.C. Former textile industry executive Samuel B. Moore will lead the expansion of the Institute’s product development and testing for textile products, including materials testing, safety certification, UV protection, microbial effectiveness, fire resistance and other independent third-party testing.
