Outdoor Retailer (OR) announced the sponsors of its 2009 trade show, Project OR, which will consist of a 48-hour student design competition in which students turn their concepts into prototypes. This year, students will be challenged to create an eco-friendly garment for outdoor use. Sponsors of the event, which will be held July 21-24 in Salt Lake City, include 3M and Outlast Technologies, both of which produce materials for use in the textile industry.
