The Textile Institute: a global vision

The Textile Institute Centenary World Conference, to take place November 3–4 in Manchester, U.K., will form part of the Centenary Celebrations of The Textile Institute, providing a platform for discussion and networking. The guiding theme for the conference will be “creating a global vision for textiles, clothing and footwear.” Areas to be highlighted in discussions include product design, education and training, innovative and smart materials, sustainability, quality control, testing and evaluation, technical textiles, research and development, marketing and management and future industry trends.

The deadline for proposed papers was April 6; abstracts submitted after that date may still be accepted but will not be given primary consideration.
