A semi-permanent installation added a personal flare to an open office space in a prominent and well-known San Francisco, Calif., building with a design that focused on the location itself—555 California Street. A trio of 10-foot by 10-foot by 10-foot “chandeliers” were constructed with an aluminum tube frame structure covered with white Elasta fabric, creating the all-over glow that was desired, but without shadowing when internally lit. The units provided a unique look for the inside of the space and also drew ambient attention to the building from the outside.
