Taiwan is to host an international seminar under the theme “Challenges for a Sustainable Textile Industry,” to run alongside the Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show (TITAS), which will be held on October 13-15, 2010. The seminar, organized by the Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF) and the International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC), will take place on October 14 at the Taipei World Trade Centre (TWTC). Topics will focus on challenges facing the environmentally responsible production of fibers and textiles, the effective use of natural resources, corporate social responsibility, supply chain management and integrating sustainability into company strategy.
