Free webinar: trade preferences for certain Haitian textile and apparel goods, Nov. 16

On Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. (EST), the U.S. Department of Commerce, Office of Textiles and Apparel (OTEXA), will host a webinar on trade preferences for apparel wholly manufactured or knit–to–shape in Haiti. The webinar will feature background on the Haitian Hemispheric Opportunity through Partnership Encouragement Act of 2006 (HOPE), the Food Conservation and Energy Act of 2008 (HOPE II) and the Haiti Economic Lift Program of 2010 (HELP), as well as a question-and-answer session for participants.

There is no charge, but advance registration is required at: https://emenuapps.ita.doc.gov/ePublic/newWebinarRegistration.jsp?SmartCode=1Q1K.

The webinar will also be recorded and posted on OTEXA’s website so that it can be used as a reference for those who are not able to participate on November 16.
