Successful conference on German textile machinery for the Brazilian textile industry

More than 400 delegates from the Brazilian textile industry attended the “Conference on German Technology for Brazilian Textiles” in São Paulo and Blumenau. Both decision makers as well as textile technicians informed themselves about the latest technology trends for efficient textile production in terms of energy, water supply and raw material use. The conferences—initiated by the German VDMA Textile Machinery Association and supported by the German Federal Ministry of Economics & Technology—took place in São Paulo Nov. 3-4 and Blumenau November 8-9, 2010.

Technology lectures given by 22 renowned companies covered machinery, accessories and services along the complete textile chain: spinning, weaving, knitting and hosiery, nonwovens, finishing (washing, bleaching, dyeing, drying) and textile testing.
