Aachen University Institut für Textiltechnik and KU Leuven of Composite Materials Group announced the return of a certificate course on the use of textile-reinforced composites (TRC), tailored for engineers eager to learn the potential for TRC in new products. The course will include information on material characteristics, textile production technologies, composite processing, design and testing procedures, and will also feature demonstrations of potential applications. The two-week course will be taught in English, and the terms will be held Sept. 12-16, 2011, in Aachen, Germany; and Sept. 19-23 in Leuven, Germany.
