Machell Apple has joined The Victor Group, Saint-Georges, Quebec, Canada, a textile manufacturer specializing in sustainable and innovative fabrics, in a newly created position: director of new development initiatives. She will use her combined 24 years experience in the textile industry to identify new business and product opportunities within the contract market segment. Apple most recently served as senior creative director for Valdese Weavers. Working from her home office in Newton, N.C., Apple will report to the director of business and product development for Victor’s Contract Business Unit based in St. Georges, Quebec, Canada.
