For a company that ordinarily works exclusively in marine applications, it was a bit of an adventure to take on a unique automotive project, but the customer drove away with a grin on his face. The customer wanted a waterproof fabric for the top of his Jaguar 1937 SS-100 Kit Car, but he wanted the look and feel of the top to be as organic as possible. Sunbrella® Supreme was chosen for its soft hand and uncompromising weather resistance. Strataglass offered the best durability and clarity for the window in the back and door panels. The company discovered that all the concepts of patterning used in marine projects were easily transferable for this unique challenge.
