TenCate Geotube transforms a wasteland

TenCate Geotube® dewatering technology contributed to the transformation of what was once a “wasteland” into an ecologically friendly wetland and recreational lake for the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City development. The new Qingjing Lake was integrated into the 1,000-year-old Ji Canal that flows through the development site—a place that is half the size of Manhattan, N.Y.. The high-strength, permeable containers are designed for containment and dewatering of high-moisture content sludge and sediment.
