American & Efird pursues Peruvian market

Textil El Amazonas S.A., Lima, Peru, will manufacture and supply American & Efird Inc. (A&E) industrial and consumer sewing thread, embroidery thread and technical textiles to the Peruvian market under a licensing agreement between the two companies. “Peru continues to grow as an international apparel exporter and fashion center, and having the opportunity to serve our global customers locally through Textil El Amazonas is significant,” says Larry McGee, vice president of sales in the Americas for A&E, based in Mount Holly, N.C.
