Longtime owner of Cincinnati-based Queen City Awning Robert P. Weingartner Sr., MFC, passed away on Feb. 15, 2014, at the age of 81. He was an active member of IFAI for many years; in addition to serving two terms on the IFAI board of directors, he also served as chairman of the certification committee, and became an Honored Life Member of the association in 1999. Son Peter Weingartner is now president of Queen City Awning.
